Troubleshooting & Support

Something not working as expected? Use this quick checklist to resolve the most common issues in minutes. If you still need help, our team typically replies within 1 business day (Mon–Fri).

Quick Fix Checklist (try these first)

  • Refresh the page (Cmd/Ctrl + R) and ensure you’re logged in.
  • Log out & back in to refresh access tokens.
  • Clear cache or use a private/incognito window.
  • Try another supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), and disable aggressive extensions (ad/script blockers) for this site.
  • If on Wi-Fi, toggle to another network or mobile hotspot briefly.

Login & Account Access

  • Can’t log in? Reset your password from the Login page. Check spam for the reset email.
  • Looping back to login? Clear cookies for startupdevkit.com, then log in again.
  • Signed in but still seeing locked items? Log out, hard refresh, and sign back in from Dashboard.

Lessons Won’t Mark Complete

  • Scroll to the bottom and click Mark Complete. Wait for the page to confirm.
  • Refresh the page; if still stuck, clear cache or try another browser.
  • Confirm your membership includes the course (see Membership & Access).
  • Post details (course + lesson link + screenshot) in the Contact Us Page for a quick hand.

Lesson or Course Shows as Locked

  • You might be on a plan that doesn’t include that course, or your trial ended.
  • Make sure the previous lesson is marked complete.
  • Check your plan under Account → Manage Membership and upgrade if needed.
  • Freemium users see only the first half of each Resource Library page; trials unlock more.

Progress Missing or Not Updating

  • Your progress is saved when you’re logged in. If it looks missing, log out & back in.
  • Try a different browser to rule out local caching.
  • If you upgraded from a trial, progress carries over—no action needed.

Focus Mode Navigation

  • In a lesson, hover your avatar (top-right) to open the full menu.
  • Jump back to Dashboard or My Courses anytime.

Billing & Cancellations (Quick Reminders)

  • Cancel program membership: Top menu → AccountManage Membership (no email needed).
  • Cancel mentoring: Email [email protected] (handled via a separate Stripe portal).
  • Refunds: Within 21 days for members who did not start with a free trial. No refunds if you joined via trial. Mentoring is non-refundable (credits may apply per rescheduling policy).

  • Goal: What you’re trying to do
  • Context: Where you are (course/lesson/page)
  • What I tried: Steps you took already
  • Blocker: The exact error or behavior
  • Links/Screenshots: Include URLs and images if possible

Community Norms (Short Version)

  • Be respectful and constructive; no spam or solicitation.
  • Protect confidentiality; share only what you intend to be public.
  • Stay on topic; include enough detail to help others help you.
  • Moderators may edit/remove posts; repeat violations can lose access.
